Since 1987, RFT has used radio frequency to help keep patients and residents safe in healthcare, senior living and educational environments. Founder Glen Jonas saw a need to help prevent Alzheimer’s and Dementia residents from wandering away from their caretakers, and our first product CODE ALERT® was born.
Jonas says,“Product ideas came mainly from our customers. For example, in June 1989, I received a call from a hospital asking if our CODE ALERT system could be adapted to protect babies while they were away from the nursery and this is the origin of SAFE PLACE®.”
As a technology company, we are keenly aware that product support is extremely critical to keeping our customers happy. Today we have over 10,000 systems installed in the marketplace, and a major reason for our success is our ability to get our products installed and properly maintained for our customers.
