Alyssa's Law

Alyssa Alhadeff, a 14-year-old student at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, lost her life in a mass shooting on February 14, 2018. The incident prompted the introduction of Alyssa’s Law, which requires the installation of silent panic alarms in K-12 school systems. These alarms are directly linked to law enforcement, enabling them to respond swiftly to life-threatening emergencies, neutralize threats, and assist victims. The law aims to address the issue of law enforcement response time in school emergencies.

The education landscape is changing; 1 in 3 parents fear for their child's safety.
