Code Alert® - Wandering Management

One of the highest risks within a senior care or assisted living environment is resident elopement.  A resident elopement can result in harm to the resident and can be an enormous liability for your facility.

At RF Technologies, we have dedicated  20 years to providing resident tracking and patient tracking, and wandering management solutions that guard and protect your residents regardless of the facility size.  The safety of wandering residents is our primary concern: when a protected resident attempts to exit a facility, the Code Alert Transmitter electronically triggers the lock at the point-of-exit and notifies staff with audible and visible alerts.

  • Scaleable and Customizable Solutions
  • Ability to Lock Doors
  • Fully Supervised System with 24/7 Technical Phone Support
  • Visual and Audible Staff Notification with Adjustable Volume and Cadence
  • Visitor Pass Codes Allow Authorized Personnel to Move Freely Throughout a Facility
  • Console or Computer Display Communications Center with Extensive Reporting Capabilities
  • Remote Service Capabilities

Promotes Independence and a Home-Like Environment
The CodeWatch Transmitter is a small, lightweight device that is worn on the wrist of a resident and can be used with all Code Alert® Wandering Management Solutions. The Transmitter is comfortable and recognized as a typical wristwatch* to help preserve resident dignity, promote independence and a home-like environment while protecting the resident.

Residents wearing transmitters have the freedom to move about the facility, yet remain safe if they attempt to exit an unauthorized area. When a resident wearing a transmitter attempts to exit a Code Alert monitored door, the CodeWatch sends a signal to the Receive Antenna, and based on your system's configuration an alarm may sound, the door may lock, and information may be sent to a central location identifying the resident and/or the monitored exit.
