Location - US – Territories available Job Type - Independent Sales Representative Minimum Experience – 4 Years SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES The ISA will be responsible for the promotion and sale of RF Technologies’ resident security solutions to the long-term care industry, to include but not limited to the continuing care retirement communities, senior housing, skilled nursing care, and assisted living markets, and for achieving sales goals within an assigned territory. The ISA will develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and potential customers, and cultivate new business via leads generated by company, tradeshows and face-to-face visits. Specific responsibilities include: - Develop and manage customer accounts in an assigned sales territory within the United States, which includes developing 30, 60 and 90-day sales forecasts.
- Develop and expand positive relationships with clients.
- Cultivate new business through face-to-face visits, phone work, tradeshows, architects, equipment planners, owners, company generated leads, and interactions with professional associations and trade groups.
- Keep company updated on changes to customer profile, sales pipeline and forecast, potential and active customers, to include tracking of sales leads and all sales-related activities, and updating customer information.
- Continually collect new insights and knowledge of the long-term care market, RF Technologies’ positioning in the marketplace, and a full understanding of our competition
- Foster collaborative working relationships with others involved in the sales and installation processes.
- Collect and evaluate customer feedback to uncover new product/service opportunities that RF Technologies could pursue, and communicate these to product management, engineering and customer solutions personnel within the company.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Must have a minimum of 2-5 years of strategic or solutions-oriented outside sales experience, preferably as an independent
sales agent in capital equipment or the health care industry. Experience selling engineered products is a plus. - Experience cultivating and generating new business via cold calling and company-sponsored leads is required.
- Experience meeting, and preferably exceeding, sales goals is required.
- Strong funnel sales management skills are required.
- PC skills are required; experience utilizing MS Excel, MS Word, and contact management software is highly preferred.
- Experience facilitating business presentations using web-based resources is a plus.
- Experience developing marketing strategies for individual accounts and sales forecasts is a strong plus.
